Introduction of Oilfield sucker rod
The sucker rod is a steel rod which used to make up the mechanical assembly between the surface and downhole components of a rod pumping system.
The product conforms to API Specification 11B (Oil extraction rod Standard) and other related standard, authorized to use the API monogram.
All sizes of sucker rod (standard, heavy, polish rod) which conform to API specification latest version 11B are available in grade K, C, D and HL.
Sucker Rod Grade
Grade C sucker rod: Moderate strength, not susceptible to sulfide stress cracking, suitable in sour medium operation.
Grade D sucker rod: Made of quality heat treated steel alloy,feature with high tensile
and yield strength; suitable for non-corroding or mildly corroding environment.
Grade K, KD sucker rod: With good corrosion resistance in H2S, CO2 and NaCl media,
superior tensile strength.
Grade HLand HY sucker rod: High strength; structure and size matching with grade D sucker rod; withstanding 966-1, 136 MPa (140, 000-64, 720 psi); suitable for deep and large
displacement wells
