Asbestos Packing is Square braided from long asbestos fiber, Finishing braided, It is treated with special lubricant, graphite flakes.
Application: A multi-service packing for valve, pump, reciprocating equipment, sealing against sweet and sea water, steam, concentrated caustic solutions, brine, mild acids, chemicals, oil an petroleum. This is a packing for high temperature and high pressure whose outer covering is braided with asbestos yarn reinforced with wire and rubber, graphited on the surface.
The packing with METALLIC (copper wire, inconel wire or stainless wire) are also available
