Stainless Steel Drop In Anchors

    Stainless steel drop in anchor is one kind of heavy duty mechanical expansion anchors, used in the concrete, brick, masonry substrates to anchor and fix the fixture objects, consisting of stainless steel 304 & 316 anchor body and a conical plug inside. The stainless steel materials' excellent feature make the tensile loading force and expansion strength very stronger than carbon steel drop in anchor. The rust and corrosion proof function are also better than galvanized drop in anchors. 

   Stainless drop in anchors are used in different installation site. The zinc plating drop in anchor is used for ordinary indoor and outdoor installation environment, SS 304 stainless steel drop in anchor bolts are suitable for wet environment, in which the anchor body may be submerged in water. SS 316 drop in anchor bolt is suitable for seawater or chlorine and other immersion liquid invasion environment or places with special high-level requirements.

    For installing, To punch the ss expanding plug into anchor body by setting tool to expand the another end cut crossing ditch for fixing with machine bolts. Providing American or British inch and Metric system standard with No knurling, half and double knurlings surface types.

[Installation Instruction]:

① Drill a hole in the base material to ensure the proper diameter and depth required.

② Use a nylon brush to remove all debris and dust.

③ Hammer ss anchor body into the drilled hole till threaded end is flush with substrate surface.

④ Hit the built-in ss plug with setting tool until the shoulder meets the top of ss anchor body.

⑤ Tighten the bolt or other fasteners to fix and install the objects.
