When an AC asynchronous motor is started at a rated voltage, the initial starting current is very large, often exceeding many times (usually 5 to 7 times) the rated current. In order to reduce the starting current and not affect the power grid, the method of starting an AC asynchronous motor is commonly to reduce the voltage by using a reactor or an autotransformer. The starting process of an AC motor is very short (usually several seconds to two minutes). After starting, cut off the reactor or auto-transformer for step-down start. This product is designed according to the starting characteristics of high voltage asynchronous motors, matching the motor power 220 ~ 1400kW.

 

Structural features

The best type of QKSC start-up reactor is epoxy casting type, it will not be affected by air and the environment to reduce the insulation, and it is suitable in various occasions to ensure the reliability of use. Its structural characteristics are as follows:

1.The iron core is made of high-quality silicon steel sheet, the core post is divided into uniform small sections by some air gaps, and the air gap is insulated by epoxy cloth plate to ensure that the air gap does not change under long-term operation of the reactor.

2.The end surface of the iron core is made of high-quality silicon steel sheet end glue, so that the silicon steel sheets are firmly bonded together, which greatly reduces the noise during operation and has good corrosion resistance.

3.The coil is epoxy cast type. Epoxy glass grid cloth is placed inside and outside the coil for reinforcement. The H-level epoxy casting system is used for casting under vacuum. The coil not only has good insulation performance, but also has high mechanical strength and can withstand high current shock and hot and cold shock without cracking.

4.The epoxy casting coil does not absorb water and has low partial discharge, and it can be safely operated under harsh environmental conditions.

5.The upper and lower ends of the coil use epoxy pads and silicone rubber shock pads, which effectively reduces the vibration of the coil during operation.

 

Conditions of use

1. The altitude does not exceed 1000 meters.

2 Operating ambient temperature is-25℃~+45℃.

3. Installed in the place where there is no severe vibration, no harmful gas or dust, and no flammable and explosive materials.

4. When the start time is 2 minutes (sum of one or several times), it should be cooled for 6 hours before restarting.

 

Performance parameters

1. The temperature resistance level reaches FH level (180℃).

2. The loss of dry iron core starting reactor is lower than that of oil-immersed reactor.

3. The noise of the dry iron core starting reactor is not greater than the national standard.
