OVERVIEW OF UPN / UPE STEEL
UPN or UNP is the short form that represents standardized stainless steel channels. UPN is often used in multiple kinds of industrial applications such as construction and machinery. Stainless steel channels are distinguished by excellent design flexibility and by fast and cost-effective construction (through the possibility of prefabrication in the steel production). Stainless steel channels are mostly produced from scrap and are recyclable. UPE beam is the short form for stainless steel channels with parallel flanges, which provide an interesting addition to the UPN beam series. The UPE profiles are thinner than UPE steel, but they have slightly wider flanges.
