The objectives face backwards for more space and the base has a comfortable plastic over the metal for less heat conduction. The field diaphragm adjustment built into the illuminator offers Kohler's illumination more lighting control options.

MRP-3000T is trinocular version of MRP-3000, offering a third vertical eyetube suitable for a camera attachment (available separately). MRP-3000 can also be ordered as Dual View Microscope (MRP-3000D), ideal for one-on-one teaching.
MRP-5000 has same popular features of MRp-3000 but with 5 DIN Achromatic objectives. MRP-5000 also has trinocular version (MRP-5000T) and Dual View Microscope (MRP-5000D).
