According to functions,the excavator bucket is divided into grid bucket,cleaning bucket,tilting bucket,ditching bucket,and more.The grid bucket is used to separate the soft,dredged materials,accomplishing excavation and separation at one go.It has wide applications in municipal engineering,agriculture,forestry,water conservancy,earth and stone work.The cleaning bucket and tilt bucket is able to change the angle of inclination by means of the oil cylinder,which improves the working efficiency enormously.As to the ditching bucket,it is suitable for excavating ditches of various shapes,enabling simultaneous forming with ditching and high efficiency with no need of conditioning.
Regarding materials,there are rock bucket,standard bucket,reinforced bucket,and others.The rock bucket is manufactured through the use of the low alloy steel plate Q345B and wear-resistant steel plate(NM400)as well as quality welding wire JM58.The excavator bucket provides strong resistance to abrasion and bending.The tooth holder and side edge of the rock bucket are made of wear-resistant steel HARDOX with ultra-high strength from Sweden.And the excavator bucket is used for the excavation of hard earth mixed with hard gravel,weathered stone,or heavy-duty loading of solid rock and blasted ore.The standard bucket,made using quality high-strength structural steel 16Mn,is suited for light-duty applications such as excavation of clay,loose earth,and loading of sand,soil,and gravel.etc.The reinforced bucket has its wearing parts,i.e,the tooth holder and side edge,made of high-strength abrasion-resistant steel NM360,and is applicable to excavation of hard earth with softer gravel or carrying heavy loads of gravel,crushed stone,etc.
In terms of working modes,the excavator bucket falls into the face shovel bucket and backhoe bucket.The latter is the commonly used type.The bucket for earthwork offers reduced use-cost of excavator bucket,extended service life,reduced down time and improved economic benefits for users.
