Stainless steel 321(S32100) is a austenitic stainless steel with 18% chromium, 10.5% nickel and addition titanium. This material has excellent corrosion resistance to intergranular corrosion, good mechanical properties, higher creep and stress rupture. It is stabilized against chromium carbide formation by the addition titanium. These materials are mainly used for high temperature tempering equipment, firewalls, aircraft collector ring, aircraft exhaust stacks, welded pressure vessels and so on.
