Stainless steel 347H(S34709) is a austenitic stainless steel with 18% chromium, 10.5% nickel and addition niobium and tantalum. This material has excellent corrosion resistance to intergranular corrosion, good mechanical properties, higher creep and stress rupture. It is stabilized against chromium carbide formation by the addition tantalum and niobium. These materials are mainly used for aircraft collector ring, aircraft exhaust stacks, pressure vessels, expansion joints, welded tanks for storing organic chemical and so on.

Standard: ASTM A276.
