PTFE graphite packing is expanded graphite impregnated by the PTFE mixture and inert lubricant. It has the following advantages: corrosion resistance, high heat conduction, rapid heat dissipation and self lubrication.Graphite packing impregnated PTFE is fit very well for braided packings for both impeller pumps and fittings. Impregnation with PTFE decreases significantly working temperature of the packing however it improves significantly its coefficient of friction and assembly in pump glands. The packing lays in a gland more softly.
