Square fender, as its name implies, is extruded into simple square shape and commonly used on tugs, vessels, boats, ships, small jetties, terminals, shipyards and all types of docks, etc. Comparing with D fenders, this one is stronger, more rigid and ideal for tougher service environments where. Meanwhile, they can be installed in a close manner to avoid ropes and protrusions being caught between adjacent section.
Types & specifications
Square fenders in wide range of types, designs and sizes are available for different purposes. We introduce you four types of square fenders including SQD, SQO, SSQ and SDS types with different chambers. Additionally, side holes or top & bottom holes can be made for anchor bolts.
SQD fender, as the most common square fender, features a D-shaped inner chamber.
SQO fenders are characterized by O-shaped inner chamber.
SSQ fenders are manufactured without any chambers.
SQS fenders have square shape chambers.
