The factors that influence to choose conveyor roller bearing
In some certain cases, in order to increase the rigidity, we must set some pressure to the conveyor roller bearing. To avoid too big eccentric angle, it is usually used for deep groove ball bearing, spherical roller bearing and self-aligning ball bearing for choice.
In some cases, we must often remove and instal the conveyor roller bearing, in order to ensure its ordinary check and maintainance.
The rotate speed of the conveyor roller bearing is determined by the factors of its size, precision, retainer type, load, lubrication and cooling method. Generally speaking, deep groove ball bearing, spherical roller bearing and self-aligning ball bearing are used in the condition of high rotate speed.
The precision of conveyor roller bearing is based on ISO, as for the machine which requires high precision and rotate speed, we suggest using the conveyor roller bearing with precision above level 5.
The conveyor roller bearing would distort when it holds pressure of its track surface. Some components need to decrease the distortion to the minimum.

What is the difference between using a shield or a seal as a ball bearing closure?
Shields or seals are often installed to retain lubricant and to prevent contamination from entering the bearing. While a shield contacts the outer ring and does not come in contact with the inner ring, the seal generally comes in contact with both the inner and outer rings. Torque or drag is lower with a shield than with a seal. Alternately, the seal provides a higher degree of protection from contamination. Shields and seals are available in a variety of materials and configurations.
