Description
LCF Alcohol Resistant Aqueous Film-Forming Foam Concentrates (AFFF) is synthetic-based foam and made mainly of composite surfactants, polar film-forming agent, stabilizer, preservatives, cosolvent, antifreeze and water.
It is a kind of high efficient and economic foam extinguishing agent for Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires, especially for polar solvents, such as alcohols, esters, ketones etc.
When applied on polar solvents, AR-AFFF form a polymeric membrane makes it possible for the foam blanket to extinguish effectively.
For Class B, hydrocarbon fuel fires
This extinguishing agent has the function of aqueous film-forming to put out oil material fires. At the same time, with the adding of polar film forming agent, AR-AFFF extinguish polar solvents like alcohol, ester, ketone, etc. It is widely used in oil fields, oil depots, large chemical plants, wineries, shipping venues, etc.
Application
Proportioning rate:
AFFF is suitable for use with Soft or hard, fresh, brackish or sea water
