Xi'an Hong Xin Arc Furnace company limited specialized in developmenting ,designing,
manufacturing , engineering installationing and technical service of ferroalloy submerged
arc furnace , new-type metallugy equipment and gasp purification system . It has a registered
capital of 10 million CNY and there are more than 150 staff in the company.
Hongxin company has its own manufacturing plant with the area covering around 10000 m2,
equipped well by different kinds of processing equipment, which can meet the requirments for
making submerged arc furnace, gas purification system etc. Meanwhile, company has full ability

Furnace Introduction
submerged arc furnace, is also known as electric arc furnace or resistance furnace, it is mainly
used for the reduction of smelting ores ,carbon reductants and solvents etc. It is mainly for
production of ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, ferrochromium,tungsten iron, silicon and
manganese alloy and other ferroalloy, all above are important industrial raw materials and
calcium carbide and other chemical raw materials in metallurgical industry.

Applications
Submerged arc furnace is for smelting of good quality special alloy steel. It adopts fixed
crystallizer and two column rotating conversion electrode tube type for a reasonable design

Submerged arc furnace used for steelmaking consists of a refractory lined vessel,usually water
cooled in large size, covered with a retractable roof, and throgh which one or more graphite
electrodes enter the furnace. The furnace is primarily split into three sections
