Sodium Heparin Micro Blood Collection Tube is coated with Sodium Heparin on the interior of the tube wall to inhibit clotting. The anticoagulantheparin activates anti-thrombins, thus blocking the coagulation cascadeand producing whole blood / plasma specimen instead of clotted bloodplus serum.
